Top Student Loan Consolidation Tips
You have invested a lot of time into college, and now you have
graduated. You now have an opportunity to put all that learning into
practice. But, what about the student loan? Today, student loan
consolidation is becoming more and more necessary. Read to find out
why, and get some tips for student loan consolidation.
Looking
at the statistics, we find that on average a student will end up with
over $20,000 in debt, by the end of there education. You likely can
relate to this. It seems like before you even get a job, you have to
get into debt.
The problem is not so much the loans. But, the
high levels of interest. Even though students get some of the greatest
rates, the student loans can add up. Wouldn't it be nice to get better
rates?
Student loan consolidation is the answer. By
consolidating a student loan, you basically put all of the separate
loans into one big loan. This in effect makes it possible to get better
rates. This is so, because more you borrow, the less interest you have
to pay.
There are benefits and negatives when you consolidate a loan. Some of these benefits and negatives are: * If you have several federal student loans, you can get a better rate by putting them into one student consolidation loan
*
Though you get a better rate of interest by putting all the separate
federal student loans into one student loan consolidation loan, you
could still end up paying more. This is due to the fact that larger
debts are for longer lengths of time. A tip is to always try to pay
extra each month and that way, you will have to pay less over the long
term. Though you will need to check the terms to see if this is
possible.
* A big benefit of student loan consolidation is that
it is easier to manage. Student loans that come at various times in the
month can really cause havoc on your finances. Having a repayment date
for one loan makes life easier.
* The problem with the time
thing, is that if before you found it easy to deal with small amounts
of loans that is spread out, one big loan may not help you.
*
Student loan consolidation is not available to everyone. Student loan
consolidation programs generally work with debt over $10,000. So if you
have less student debt, then you may not be able to consolidate your
student loan.
* There are some benefits of student loan
consolidation. The first is that you can get some great extra's with
student loans. Some can be better rates if you consistently pay on
time. And even some will include cash back. Though you need to check to
see if you really are getting a better deal with this option.
The
first thing you want to make sure you do is to do some research before
choosing one particular student loan consolidation program. Online this
research can be much easier, and finding online student loan
consolidation programs is a popular route to getting the best deals.
Make sure you do some research, as there are many different packages,
even out of student consolidation loans that can give you great rates.

Pleural Mesothelioma and Pleural Diseases
Pleural mesothelioma starts in the lungs. The pleura is a membrane
around the lungs and is inside the chest. Whenever doctors refer to
pleural or pleura this is the area they are talking about. Pleural
mesothelioma symptoms are similar to many other pleural diseases and
cancers. Pleural disease is often one of the early mesothelioma stages
of pleural mesothelioma.
Pleural mesothelioma and pleural
diseases begin by attacking this membrane, which makes it more
difficult to breathe. Chest pain is a very common mesothelioma symptom;
however it is also a symptom of many pleural diseases, including
pleural mesothelioma. Both benign (not progressing) and malignant
(progressing and getting worse) pleural diseases and pleural
mesothelioma will produce symptoms of chest pain and shortness of
breath. This is because the natural fluid that flows between the outer
shell of your lung and the membrane over it (the parietal pleura) gets
interrupted.
The fluid in this pleura space keeps your lungs
breathing smooth and rhythmically when its flowing peacefully. It
revolves in a continuous state of production and removal. When asbestos
enters the lungs and chest and mesothelioma symptoms begin, the balance
disappears and excess fluid accumulates. The fluidity of breathing
disappears, and the pleural disease begins making breathing difficult.
When there is excess fluid in the pleural space, its called pleural
effusion. Pleural effusion can be one of the early mesothelioma stages,
but if you have pleural effusion, that does not mean you have pleural
mesothelioma.
Pleural diseases are not rare. If youve been
exposed to asbestos, statistics published in British medical journals
show that there is likely a 50% chance that you will have a pleural
disease. Pleural disease is also common in many cancers, including
breast cancer and lung cancer it is not relegated to pleural
mesothelioma or malignant mesothelioma. Medical journals report that
40% of cancer patients experience pleural effusion. In asbestos related
pleural effusion, pleural effusion is sometimes followed by one of the
next mesothelioma stages, diffuse pleural thickening.
Diffuse
pleural thickening and pleural mesothelioma are not as common as
pleural effusion and pleural plaques. Pleural plaques can occur from a
brief exposure to asbestos, but may not be observed until 20 years
later. Diffuse pleural thickening can be noticed anywhere from 3 years
to 40 years after asbestos exposure, although it may occur as soon as a
year after asbestos exposure. Medical tests must be given to determine
the extent of the disease, and to monitor the progression which would
indicate the likelihood of pleural mesothelioma or other malignant
mesothelioma. For malignant pleural mesothelioma, the disease could be
latent for 40 years or more. But pleural effusion is often diagnosed
first, and can sometimes be noticed as early as a year after asbestos
exposure. The degree of calcification (similar to a hardening) often
determines how early the pleural disease can be identified. However,
the stages of pleural calcification and mesothelioma stages of
malignant mesothelioma will differ with each individual.

Mesothelioma treatment and treatment options for advanced malignant
mesothelioma are not limited to surgery and chemotherapy. Increased
awareness of mesothelioma and other asbestos-caused diseases has led to
an increase on medical research to cure and control asbestos-caused
cancers and related asbestos heart and respiratory diseases. Although
chemotherapy and surgery are the most common forms of treatment,
participating in clinical trials can provide you with alternative
mesothelioma treatment options.
Perhaps the most common clinical
trials and mesothelioma treatment options for advanced malignant
mesothelioma involve chemotherapy and drug combinations. Drugs produce
a medical benefit by themselves, and they can produce a different
benefit when combined with other drugs a chemical reaction that
produces a third result. Advanced malignant mesothelioma clinical
studies with Cisplatin, now often used with chemotherapy, proved
Cisplatin to be effective. Mesothelioma clinical trials with
Gemcitabine proved Gemcitabine to be ineffective. However, mesothelioma
clinical trials using Cisplatin and Gemcitabine together are proving to
be even more promising. Finding the right drug combinations to slow
tumor growth and contribute to improved pain management is one of the
fastest paths to wide-spread availability of new mesothelioma treatment
options.
Anti-angiogenic therapy is a biological therapy based
on interfering with the blood vessels that the cancer needs to survive.
Advanced malignant mesothelioma patients have a higher vascular
endothelial growth factor than patients with other cancers.
Anti-angiogenic therapies focus on natural body substances that affect
the mesothelioma cancers growth, including the use of drugs made of
these substances to inhibit cancer growth factors.
Immunotherapy
is also classified as a biological therapy. Immunotherapy, as the name
suggests, concentrates on building immunity to the cancer cells.
Immunotherapy can involve vaccines, and in cases of mesothelioma, these
are likely to be injected in the pleural region. IL-2 is made naturally
by the body, and clinical trials have demonstrated its success at
treating mesotheliomas in the early stages, mesothelioma stages one and
two, but not effective in treating advanced malignant mesothelioma.
Photodynamic
therapy has gained increase attention in many medical fields for
various treatment options, including mesothelioma treatment.
Photodynamic therapy uses light and heat to kill cancer cells.
Unfortunately, clinical trials have not been successful with advanced
mesothelioma patients, nor patients in the mesothelioma patients in
stages one and two. It has been successful in treating other cancers.
Gene
therapy, also referred to as molecular therapy, is an exciting and
relatively new field of research being applied to mesothelioma
treatment. Oncogenes contribute to the fast spreading of the cancer
cells and tumor suppressor genes stop cells from spreading. The medical
premise is to replace the genes in cancer cells with healthy genes.
Gene therapy is also a biological therapy and explores using the bodys
natural substances to treat mesothelioma stages.
Mesothelioma
treatment for advanced malignant mesothelioma is slowly finding new
mesothelioma treatment options. It takes years to evaluate the clinical
significance of a clinical trial and medical research to prove that a
mesothelioma treatment option is a promising and viable alternative.
Thorough medical research on mesothelioma treatment contributes to safe
medical treatment options being widely-available to the public.
Mesothelioma in any of its stages is dangerous, but with researchers
working together, mesothelioma treatment options will be safer and
mesothelioma research will someday find a cure.

How to Choose Conference Call Provider?
In the recent years, conference calls have been a medium for business
firms in holding their business meetings for their organizations around
the globe. As such, the rivalry these days for business is competitive
among different conference call providers. This environment can be
appropriate when the time comes to regard as just which of the many
conference call providers will profit in this business tool.
The
first consideration in choosing a conference call provider is to
recognize how often the company uses conference calls for
communication. Possibly a firm has different divisions that perform
conference calls on a frequent basis, such as twice a week, once a week
or once a month. If the company is on project basis, the utilization of
conference call is less organized however still yield in a quantity of
conference calls done every month.
There is a perfect way to
manage the rate of recurrence of a firms conference call practice is
to obtain a picture of the previous six months and create a standard
number of conference calls performed. This will provide the company a
concept of the total standard time produced per conference call. Keep
this data useful.
The next move is to examine the form of the
conference call type utilized by the company. The company might want to
be certain that any conference call provider the company move towards
and at the same time can offer the type of service the company
requires. As an instance, should the company most frequently use an
operator supported dial-out style of call, there is no requirement for
the company to have an access into conversations with conference call
providers who offers only a dial-in service. Part of the firms job is
to get rid of conference call providers who can't provide the company
what they presently need.
At this stage, the firm might want to
start to thinks about the extra service alternatives that they want to
attempt in the future. The company must be certain that conference call
provider that makes it on their list of possible aspirants has those
characteristics obtainable. Generate an official wish list and have it
accessible to offer any conference call provider the firm critically
believe.
At this point, the firm have a clear image of the
services that they already employed and the service alternatives that
they may be interested in the near future, their next step is to
accumulate their list of the prospective conference call providers.
Most conference call providers provide sufficient basic information on
the company websites to let them to identify if they have the possible
conference call provider.
It is during this phase that any
potential conference call provider will ask a few questions about your
average volume of usage and frequency of conference calls. Provide the
conference call provider with this basic information and let them know
that as part of their evaluation of each conference call provider that
they are speaking with, they are requesting a free demonstration or
perhaps the ability to hold a conference call at no charge. This is not
an extraordinary request for a probable customer to make of a
conference call provider.

How to Make a Conference Call in the United States
Holding conference calls has become pretty routine in our world today.
Still, there are people out there who do not know how to make a
conference call. Here are some basic tips.
If your need is
simply to connect one or two other parties with yourself, you may
consider utilizing the conference feature provided with your local
phone service. Typically, the charges are rather high, but if you have
a one-time need, this quick and easy solution will usually fill the
bill. For instructions on how to make a conference call using your
local phone service, contact your local service provider.
Some office phone systems also
have a limited capability to create a conference call. The typical PBX
will allow a combination of in office and outside connections, usually
number no more than a six to eight lines. Instructions in how to make a
conference call using your office system can usually be found in the
instruction booklets supplied by the manufacturer. If they are not, a
call to the manufacturer will usually end with an offer to send you
instructions on how to make a conference call via an email or a fax.
Long
distance providers are also a source of conference services. Your long
distance carrier most likely would be happy to tell you how to make a
conference call utilizing their services. One word of warning on this
option: unless you have a volume agreement in place for
telecommunications services, the pricing may be high. You would most
help yourself to check around for something less costly.
If
circumstances dictate that you go through a conference vendor, you will
find quite a few choices these days. Most conference call providers
will be happy to help you select the type of conference service you
want and issue you specific instructions on how to make a conference
call using their service platform. Among the selections they will
assist you with are determining what type of conference call you need,
help in setting up your account, booking the conference call and then
step by step instructions in how to make a conference call.
Once
you have determined whether you will conduct the conference through
your local phone company, an office phone system or with the aid of a
conference call vendor, you can then contact everyone who needs to
attend the conference. Included in your notification should be specific
instructions, if any, concerning how the party is expected to be
connected to the conference call. Do not skip over basic instructions.
Many parties do not know how to make a conference call, or at least may
be unfamiliar with the style of call you have chosen. Make sure your
instructions on how to make a conference call are easy to understand,
and always provide some sort of means for each party to get assistance
should they become confused.
Just as it is imperative to provide
your attendees with specifics on how to connect with the conference,
make sure you have a clear understanding of how to make a conference
call using the type of service you have selected. Go over the process
you will need to follow in connecting with the conference and make sure
you understand exactly what to do. This is especially true with dial-in
formats that utilize passcodes. If you fail to enter the passcode
assigned to the host, the conference will not begin. If you have any
doubts about what you are to do, call your provider and go over the
process of how to make a conference call with the service you have
established.
It is also important that as you learn how to make
a conference call with your vendor of choice that you be aware of any
service options at your disposal during the actual conference. As an
example, many services allow the host to mute all attendees, which is
great if you want to deliver a lecture as part of the meeting. If there
is a service option available that you think may be helpful, but you
are not sure how to utilize it, ask for suggestions from your vendor.
Part of their job is to make sure you understand how to make a
conference call using any of the service options they make available to
their customers.
One last critical feature to investigate when
learning how to make a conference call with your vendor of choice is
how the call will end. Some vendors set the conference to automatically
end when the host hangs up. Others will allow the conference to
continue until the last line in the call releases. Make sure you know
how your service is set to work.
Knowing how to make a
conference call has gone from being a special perk of corporate
executives in large companies to being a basic skill that persons in
all walks of life should become familiar with. If you do not currently
use conference call services, check around with friends and
acquaintances. Chances are you know several people who know how to make
a conference call; they can put you on the path to mastering this very
useful business practice.

How To Get Targeted Traffic To Your Site
Sometimes it seems like getting a good
flow of targeted traffic to your website is not only the hardest thing
to do but it's the most important thing to do in internet marketing.
That's because without the traffic the site is "dead".
But
achieving you traffic goals doesn't have to be a puzzle and it doesn't
have to have the possible consequence of driving you broke from ad
bills.
When you get it right SEO (search engine optimization) is
the best way to get traffic to your offer. It's free, it has
credibility, and, depending on your keyword choice, it can be VERY
targeted.
Here we'll cover a few SEO tactics that you can use to get more great traffic in a reasonable amount of time.
Most of the time, in discussions about SEO, the two main ingredients to the recipe for traffic are "keywords" and "backlinks".
Another dichotomy that exists is the "onpage" and "offpage" SEO tactics.
For
example, if you want to, and can, rank for "red umbrellas" you want
your keyword in your title, preferably toward the front and you want it
in the first paragraph, also preferably toward the beginning.
These rules are not hard and fast in SEO but they may well be when submitting articles.
So that's the "on-page" factors.
The
"off-page" factor most people want to know how to do and how to get
right are backlinks. Preferably one-way backlinks, although the merit
of two way links is commonly discussed.
So here's what you want to move up fast for a keyword you are targeting.
You want it in your title and your first paragraph. On-page.
And then there's the off-page SEO maneuvers.
You
want it on another site as a hyperlink made of THOSE words. It can be
in an article resource box, as "the author will also show a good
selection of red umbrellas and some..." where "red umbrellas" (without
the quotes) is a clickable link to the pages URL that you are SEO'ing
for. I'm SURE that is not a word but I hear myself saying it now and
then.
You see, Google sees a link from another site that has the link text as "red umbrellas" as a VOTE for YOUR site.
Theoretically,
at least, Google will advance your ranking for red umbrellas if they
see some "votes" in the form of red umbrella links pointing to your
page from out there in the blogosphere or web page universe.
So
there it is. Your on-page text content contains your keywords and your
links back to that page come from in-context placement of "your keyword
here" at another site.
This could be done with articles, in the
resource box, or a post on a blog somewhere and there is one more
consideration to where your backlinks originate from.
It's a simple as this. A keyword link from a low page rank site has a lot less "value" than a link from a PR5 or PR6 has.
So
a simple way to start pushing for better ranking for "your keyword
here" is to get it in your on page content adequately and to secure
some backlinks from "your keyword here" in context at another site, if
possible from a higher PR ranking site or page.
Here's a great exercise.
Go
to Ezinearticles and look at some articles about your topic (your
keyword here). Look at what keywords they are using as links back to
their site and compare it to what you are doing. Live and learn.
And remember this... Offer + Traffic = Sales By Riley West

How to Increase Website Traffic by Using Keywords
How do you make sure your small business
website gets enough visitors to make it worthwhile? How can you
increase website traffic to get more clients? Even better, how do you
dominate your niche?
There are actually a variety of things that
you need to do to get visitors, but one of the most basic is one you do
when you build your web pages. Each page you build needs to target a
particular keyword, one that is actually used by your potential clients
when they search on the search engines.
For example, if you
offer weight loss exercise programs on your website, what will your
ideal client type into a search engine to find your business? Would it
be "weight loss fitness program", "weight loss exercise programs",
"weight loss exercise program" or something totally different? Small
differences in keywords can mean a big increase in website traffic, or
maybe the opposite - a website that fails.
To know if a keyword
is good or not you need to know two things: the number of people
searching for that keyword, and the number of other websites competing
against yours for that keyword. Ideally you want a keyword with lots of
searches and little competition. Then your website has a better chance
of getting onto the first page of the search engine results page with
the resulting increase in website traffic.
With our example,
"weight loss fitness program" had 742 searches in a month with 10,200
competing websites. "Weight loss exercise programs" had 7,650 searches
with 14,300 competing sites. "Weight loss exercise program" had 1,890
searches, and 26,700 competing sites.
Having information like this gives you a big headstart in increasing your website traffic, but how do you find it?
Fortunately
there are a number of keyword tools that give you all the information
you need. There are free programs that are quite basic but are handy
for getting the feel of things. If you're building a business website
it's better to pay for a keyword tool at least while you're setting up
your website. It's an investment that could give you big returns.
To
use a keyword tool you enter a seedword for example "fitness program",
and the tool spits out a long list (maybe hundreds) of keywords that
contain your seed word such as "weight loss fitness program", "best
fitness program", "cheap fitness program", and so on. The paid keyword
tools typically give search numbers and competition, a ratio of the
two, and they let you sort and filter the results. That's very handy
when you get a list hundreds of keywords long. They usually let you get
related keywords that don't contain the seedword, and with some you can
use country specific databases. If you live in Australia, you could get
Australian search results.
Before you purchase or subscribe to a keyword tool make sure it will do what you want.
The
free tools are fine for some preliminary work, but they're not good
enough for a serious business website. You may get between 10 and 100
keywords and you may only get search numbers with no competition data.
Have a play with them before you pay for a keyword tool though.
So when you have the list of keywords and have decided which ones you're using how do you use them in your web page?
First
of all, using one keyword per page is best. The idea is to sprinkle the
keyword throughout the webpage to provide enough hooks for the search
engines to tell what your page is about. You should have the keyword in
the main headline of the page, and in a text link to another page. It
should be used in the page title and page description, and in the URL.
You should use it several times throughout the page. Most experts say
the keyword should make up between 1% and 3% of the content. In other
words if your page was 1000 words long you'd use the keyword between 10
and 30 times. Don't go overboard using the keyword, or the search
engines may thing you're keyword spamming and actually give you a lower
page ranking so you get less traffic.
All that is basic on-page
search engine optimization and it will certainly help get increased
website traffic. But keywords are good for more than just optimizing
each page. They're also good for planning your website. You get to see
what your ideal client is interested in and what information they are
looking for. You can build a web page for each topic to get a huge
increase in website traffic.
Keyword research for planning your
website and optimizing your pages is just one part of getting lots of
targeted traffic to your website, but it is an important part. By Warren Newson

How I Got My Business to the Top of Google Search
So what makes me an expert I hear you say? I am a business man with
nearly 10 years experience in web development, search engine
optimisation and PPC advice. In my day job I run a very successful
Stansted Airport Taxi business which is now booming owing to the number
of online enquiries we receive every day, the result of many hours of
work that I will share some of my secrets with you in this short
article.
Unlike my competitors, I do not use Yellow Pages,
Thomson Local and many of your more traditional form of advertising. My
advertising budget is miniscule to what other comparative companies
have. So what are you waiting for? In a recession you need to ensure
that you review your costs at every level of your business and ensure
that when you invest in advertising, traditional or online, that you
are maximising your return on investment at every opportunity. The cost
of Yellow Pages or Thomson Local is not cheap – ask yourself this,
would you like more enquiries than you already enjoy currently for
FREE? If your answer is yes then read on and I will showcase a method
for you to procure, develop and optimise a website for as little as £25
for a whole year! The investment you need is time and commitment – and
no I am not just going to refer to pay per click advertising. Organic
search results – FREE advertising and massive exposure on the top
search engines…..and you don’t need to have any in depth knowledge of
web site design, HTML, CSS or anything!
Before we start – I am a
normal commercially minded business man, I am not a geek or next Bill
Gates, rather, a business man who respects the fact that consumers have
changed the way in which they make decisions about buying goods and
services – ask yourself this – your customers have access to the
internet and you are not listed on Google – will they still call you or
will they see what one of your competitors are doing first? Can you
afford to take the risk? Of course you can’t, it is just common sense
isn’t it? Please read on and pass my advice on to your friends and
colleagues as I believe all businesses should have a chance to realise
the true potential of the truly ‘inclusive’ market place called the
world wide web.
So what will I cover?
* Introduction – Website Builder * Site Specific Keywords and Title Tags – The ‘must dos’ explained quickly! * The Beauty of Good Website Content and Large Web Sites * Secrets of quality, organic Back links and Social Networking sites
Many
‘SEO Consultants’ make bold claims about how you can get page one
listings for keywords that may or may not be relevant to your business
only for you to find that the keywords that they are looking to
optimise their sites for are so obscure that no one will ever search
for them, no wonder they can get onto the first page of Google!
We
operate a successful Stansted Airport taxi and chauffeur business. We
took a decision a few years back to not only have a good looking web
site but to have a site that is capable of being found very easily all
across the web. You can have the most beautiful web site but unless
people can find it the site will offer you little in terms of a return
on investment. The techniques and process I am about to go through with
you have formed an integral part of our growth strategy for our
business over the past 5 years and now I am going to share some of our
secrets with you in how we have used Google and effective search engine
exposure to really make a success of our business even in a recession.
Google
is king. Whilst it does pay to be listed on the other search engines,
to be on the first page of Google is the only place to be found if you
are truly serious about significant web traffic. As an example, our
premium site that offers Stansted airport taxi transfers to and from
London Stansted Airport enjoys over 90% of its search engine traffic
from Google, period, ue to its extremely strong web presence on Google
and other major search engines. In fact don’t be fooled into thinking
that I have been working on this example website for 5 years – I first
started this site in November 2008 and was number one on Google for a
very competitive search term by 28 January 2009!! No PPC, no external
consultancy, no tricks – a sustained number one position since 28
January 2009! Yes it can be done and you will do the same if you follow
the steps I am about to share with you.
Introduction – Website Builder
If
you are new to the business of web site design and development don’t be
encouraged to pay hundreds of pounds to develop a site from scratch. If
like me you are a small business owner looking to make the right step
to internet marketing for the first time, then in the interests of
controlling your costs please consider the idea of building the site
yourself before spending hundred, possibly thousands, on an external
consultant. Here are my reasons:
1. A quality website built
from scratch that is not built on a template can cost you from £1000 to
£10-20k depending on what you want to use the site for; 2. If you
require a shop window or e-commerce site on the web then this can be
done simply and cheaply but in a way that still generates you massive
traffic and leads/sales. 3. I would rather you spend your budget on PPC advertising once you have built a content rich, well linked site for only £25!
Even
before you buy a domain for your web site the first tip I would offer
you is to decide upon the one significant keyword term you want to rank
well for. Don’t just pick your business name; instead, think what your
customers do when they are looking to buy your product or service. How
do I do that? Simple, use the power of Google to show you what search
terms people are clicking on for their Adwords campaigns. Google
publish all of their adword campaign results online – the “Google
Keyword Tool” should only be used as a guide as to what terms related
to your business might generate you significant traffic. Interestingly
you can also see how much others [competitors?] are paying for the top
sponsored listing in adwords! In my example we operate a Stansted
Airport taxi service – my research found that the term “Stansted taxi”
was the premier of searches used. I then decided that this was the
search term I was going to optimise my site for.
But
what about my own company name I hear you say? Think about this – let’s
say you run a successful Furniture shop in Saffron Walden, Essex called
“Smiths Furniture Store”. Now ask yourself, if I bought the domain
www.smiths-furniture-store.co.uk and I optimised for this search term
who from outside Saffron Walden would find you? In other words, unless
I know the name of your business I am unlikely to find you! Now lets
try www.north-essex-furniture-sales.co.uk. In this example you have
sacrificed your ‘local brand’ to effectively broaden your on line
appeal to thousands of other potential customers not only based in
Saffron Walden but in the whole of North Essex and beyond!!
By
carefully selecting a broad domain name for your market place you can
ensure that you can generate significantly more traffic to your site
and bag new customers too!! Win, win. In our example of Stansted taxi,
we offer chauffeur services also, but we needed a domain that would
broaden our appeal on line – we opted for www.stanstedtaxiservice.co.uk
as everyone knows what a taxi service is. Now you will notice that our
chosen primary keyword phrase of “Stansted taxi” is also contained
within the domain name – this is not an accident!!
So
choosing a domain name is really important – remember, ask yourself
this question at this point, is my domain going to help my site be
understood and found more easily?
Domain name chosen – what next….?
My
top tip is NOT to spend thousands on buying a site - there are now a
number of Flash site maker providers who offer you unlimited pages to
build your own web site for FREE or for as little as £25 [with no
adverts]. £25!!! Yes it really is as cheap as this and it includes
hosting and you WILL be found on all of the major search engines. They
will provide you with all of the tutorials you need and even provide
templates to help you get going in about 30minutes – easy to upload, no
fuss, just perfect for the small business!
So how much
have you spent so far, £35 which includes your well thought out domain,
not bad and you have only been reading this for 5 minutes!
Site Specific Keywords and Title Tags – The ‘must dos’ explained quickly!
Now
that you have your new site your next thought should be given to
‘content’. You will hear a lot about this because Google ranks web
sites on the basis of ‘votes’ or ‘back links’ from other sites who
consider your site important enough to offer useful info or links that
may interest their users. Whilst there are other reasons for ranking
well in Google please take it from me, this is THE one to get right,
without which you will not get far. Many of the bigger businesses have
been around long enough that they attract thousands of back links every
day – this is why they are difficult to beat. I did though and now I am
going to tell you how.
Your web site needs to contain a
reasonable number of variations of your primary keywords. Don’t get
silly with this – the keywords need to be kept to a total of 5 good
phrases that enable you to make clear and articulate sentences with.
Yes, you can also use your keywords in your titles but make sure that
your main body text is readable! An example from my Stansted London
Taxi website is listed below:

keywords related to my business? One clue – spot Stansted London Taxi
and London to Stansted? The insert is clearly written and will provide
the Google search engine with rich content with which crawl.
So
let’s dispel the myth of meta data - title tags, header tags, meta tags
and image alt tags. Many SEO Consultants make this out to be rocket
science but let me tell you it really is very easy:
1. Each
of your pages will have a Title tag – USE THIS CAREFULLY – it is
imperative once again that you look to include your primary keyword and
other phrases in your title tag. Why? It is this statement that will
normally be used by the search engine to tell a customer what you are
offering – a massive sales board online 24/7 so you need to fashion
this to your business very carefully. In my business I want my
customers to be under no illusion that we offer airport taxis and what
number to call. My customers don’t even need to click on the url to get
a number. When I see companies with ‘Home Page’ in their title tag I
just giggle as this is such a wasted opportunity – you have been
warned! Using the Smith Furniture Store example again, this is what I
would look to include:
North Essex Furniture Sales | Saffron Walden | 01799 555666
1. Header Tags – use them, all of them! Ensure that H1 are keyword rich
and as you go through H2, H3 you should look to vary your keyword
phrases – keep them relevant and never neglect this! Tip: look at other
establish sites – tight click on the site and view their source to see
what they are doing – always useful tip to check you your competitors!
2. Ensure that you have different title tags for each of your pages –
make it relevant but NEVER be lazy and have the same title tags
throughout your website. 3. Meta Tags – Keywords – limit these to
no more than 5 key phrases – it will help to keep your website really
focused on your chosen niche/market – too many keywords mean that you
may link on page 10 for 100 keywords – wouldn’t you rather list on page
1 for 5 and enjoy serious traffic??? 4. Meta Tags – Description –
This is another area where many businesses, both big and small neglect.
Now sometimes Google, depending on the search, will decide itself what
to show but you can help driver better traffic to your web site and
help Google by writing a keyword rich, but user friendly, description
for EACH page of your web site. See my own example below:
Saffron
Walden and North Essex Furniture Sales - Affordable furniture available
in our Saffron Walden, Essex showroom. Call in today to discuss your
furniture requirements.
Notice my use of “Saffron Walden
Furniture” throughout and the way in which it reads in an articulate
fashion, this is the sort of approach you will need to master to ensure
that your preferred description is used as opposed to a randomly chosen
search engine description.
1. I hope that when you design
your web site you will have some nice images to showcase your wares
that will help make your site look more attractive. This is just a
small reason for having images however, trust me. When I look at most
sites and right click on images I am amzed when I see ‘image3 – car’.
The ALT TAG effectively acts as a label and MUST be used. Try to ensure
that you have a variety of your keyword phrases contained within each
single alt tag. This is a little tip but you will be amazed what
difference it can make.
The Beauty of Good Website Content and Large Web Sites – Take Note!
This
is really an add on from the last section but never underestimate the
power of ‘good content’ on your web page. This is no secret – you might
be able to get away with this on yahoo, Bing and MSN but you won’t with
GOOGLE! Remember to write as naturally as you can and don’t be fooled
into thinking that you will simply be able to list out your keywords
and aim to beat google this way – you can’t – I have tried and was
penalised heavily!
My primary site is large with many
sub pages. GOOGLE LIKES BIG SITES. Google also likes a site map on your
web page – this is essential and will enable search engines to track
and make easy sense of your web pages.
One essential
tip is to link each page with each other using IN SITE anchor links.
Using various phrases from your keywords be sure to make each link in
BOLD on the page. Once again, this will help to make it completely
clear to all search engines what your web site is and provide you with
well optimised back links to all of your pages.

Mesothelioma Mesomark Blood Test
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the MESOMARK assay to
help monitor response to treatment in malignant mesothelioma patients.
The MESOMARK test signifies the beginning of a new era in monitoring
mesothelioma malignancies," said Dr. W. Jeffrey Allard, vice president
and chief scientific officer of Fujirebio Diagnostics. "As the first
in-vitro test for patients with this aggressive disease, it will enable
doctors to more accurately detect recurrence and monitor treatment of
patients." The MESOMARK Assay test kit was developed to measure
levels of a biomarker, mesothelin, in serum. Biomarkers are substances
found in higher-than-normal concentrations in the blood, urine or body
tissues of patients with certain types of cancers. The test may be used
to monitor patients confirmed as having mesothelioma, for recurrence in
patients following surgery, or for measuring response to therapies. "Current
diagnostic tests are less than ideal for quantification of changes in
tumor volume, which is key to managing the disease," continued Allard.
"As the MESOMARK results correlate with tumor volume*, it provides a
much needed tool for monitoring patient status. It is our plan to
collect additional data in the future to support the use of the test to
detect mesothelioma."
MESOMARK test are now making it possible -
with a simple blood test -to monitor response to treatment and to
detect recurrence following treatment. This provides an important head
start to patients racing against this aggressive cancer. "The Meso
Foundation is the national research funding, patient support and
advocacy organization dedicated to eradicating mesothelioma as a
life-threatening disease. Those wishing to take part in MESOMARK
testing will be asked to provide one or more samples of blood. The
blood samples will then be sent to a national reference laboratory for
testing. In conjunction with other clinical and laboratory data
obtained by your doctor, decisions regarding your treatment and care
may be simplified. You may discontinue testing at any time.

California Mesothelioma Laws And Lawyer
Finding a highly qualified and competent California mesothelioma
attorney involves a little investigation. Newly diagnosed victims of
Mesothelioma in California often have ample questions involving their
health, their future, and their lawful recourses in the event of a
mesothelioma diagnosis. The facts of mesothelioma are not easy to hear,
nor are they easy to deal with. While a Mesothelioma doctor is equipped
to answer medical and health questions as they relate to Mesothelioma,
only a qualified Mesothelioma attorney is capable of answering
questions that are associated with the legal ramifications of a
mesothelioma diagnosis.
California mesothelioma victims are
encouraged to make a list of questions that they feel they need answers
to, one list for their Mesothelioma physician and another list for
their attorney. The top ten questions to ask a California mesothelioma
attorney have been suggested here, but there will be many more
questions regarding a Mesothelioma case.
1. It is vital to
contact a Mesothelioma lawyer as quickly as possible as many states
have complicated regulations concerning Mesothelioma lawsuits. The
first question to ask a qualified Mesothelioma lawyer is whether or not
you qualify to file a Mesothelioma lawsuit. This of course will involve
divulging all the information possible to allow the Mesothelioma lawyer
to determine if you qualify to file a Mesothelioma lawsuit.
2.
Some California mesothelioma lawyers are already involved with other
Mesothelioma lawsuits or Mesothelioma settlements which may preclude
them from taking on any new cases. It is possible that you may qualify
for a class action lawsuit or perhaps an individual Mesothelioma
lawsuit, depending on the circumstances. Mesothelioma patients need to
inquire whether their case would be handled as an individual case or as
part of a class action Mesothelioma lawsuit, and which would benefit
them the most.
3. Knowing that your potential Mesothelioma
lawyer has ample actual courtroom experience is a highly important part
of hiring a Mesothelioma lawyer. It is perfectly acceptable to inquire
with your potential Mesothelioma lawyer about their prior Mesothelioma
and courtroom experience. Mesothelioma lawsuits are not the type of
lawsuits you want a newbie cutting their teeth on, there is simply too
much at stake.
4. California mesothelioma lawsuits tend to be
large cases with a lot of complicated laws and circumstances to
navigate. A Mesothelioma attorney needs to have ample support and
resources to assist in the research and argument process. You will want
to ask the Mesothelioma attorney how many Mesothelioma cases are in the
firm, how many Mesothelioma expert lawyers are in the firm, and how
much extra support services they can receive from the other California
mesothelioma attorneys in the law firm.
5. Mesothelioma victims
tend to be victimized by the contraction of the disease and are often
very sensitive to other people's feelings, including their Mesothelioma
lawyer's feelings. Asking questions that validate their experience is a
good thing, and is not offensive to a Mesothelioma lawyer. If your
potential Mesothelioma attorney reacts to questions with offense, it is
not in your best interest to hire them. Asking them about their track
record with Mesothelioma cases, how many went to trial versus how many
of them were settled, as well as the results of each case is a
reasonable line of questioning.
6. It is rarely in the best
interest of the Mesothelioma victim for their case to be split between
multiple law firms. Asking whether your lawsuit will be handled in
house or if there is the possibility of splitting the case between law
firms is a question of relative importance.
7. The vast majority
of California mesothelioma cases are handled on a contingency basis,
which means the attorney gets paid a percentage of what he or she is
able to win on the Mesothelioma victim's behalf. If the case goes
nowhere, the Mesothelioma lawyer typically doesn't get paid. The
percentage of the Mesothelioma award or the Mesothelioma settlement
which typically goes to the representing Mesothelioma lawyer is between
30 and 40 percent.
8. Asking your California mesothelioma lawyer
to describe the process of a lawsuit will enable you to understand the
process which you are about to enter as well as inform you of how well
your Mesothelioma lawyer communicates..
9. It is important to
understand how long the Mesothelioma lawyer will need for research and
how much information he or she will need from the Mesothelioma victim
and the Mesothelioma doctor. Television has given us the impression
that lawsuits and court proceedings happen quickly. They don't it takes
time, and for a Mesothelioma victim, time is very precious.
10.
California mesothelioma laws may vary by county. Establishing the
jurisdiction that the Mesothelioma case will be tried is vital. Often
it is tried in the county which the exposure to asbestos took place.
Your Mesothelioma lawyer will have to have access to that region.
